Dom's Nav TV rgb converter

Hey, i was just wondering what all comes with this module?

I got the converter box.. with red/black wire coming out of it (toggle switch). I also have the blue/white wire coming out of it which is the control wires. I also got the black wires that connect to the DC power supply input.

Am i missing the other wires or another connector? What do I plug into the RGB out connector? I read about and seen pictures of these other wires (brown, purple, orange, yellow) but I dont know where they are coming from.

I'm a n00n with this stuff so take it easy on me. I searched and even saw pictures of some installs

My module also has a sticker taped onto it saying "Lexus Converter Box"

Did dom send me the wrong one? I purchased this on a group buy about 2 months ago

Sounds like you're missing the DIN which has the (6 I think) wires that actually connect to the NAV signal wires ... Call Dom .. he'll work you through it.

He's at 718-763-7367

I got my power from the OEM Amp power line and also ran a noise/power filter in line to avoid any noise/lines on the screen.

Its a power filter I got from RAdio Shack for like $16. There is a pic in one of the other threads similar to this one. Search for dom's nav unit threads and you should stumble over it.

I used a Soundgate Aux3 and spliced in to the XM input wires from the bottom plug on the HU.https://acurazine.com/forums/audio-video-electronics-navigation-22/finally-i-have-xm-my-auxillary-input-my-05tsexw-navi-312281/

My PS2slim is in the glove box. I hooked all of it up and installed a new amp at the same time so Doms unit, Aux3, And I think 1 other thing is running off of the filtered power line.

I think that write up was posted in the black market in one of Doms group buy threads, but be careful using it because the pic showed the wires connected wrong.

Could wires being wrong have something to do with his being an 04 and yours being an 05?

Nope! Somewhere in his same post he said he had a problem getting it to work. He never said it was the wires hooked up wrong though, but I suspect that was what it was. His wires connected exactly backwards. DOMS install instructions were correct.

I did a post a few months back on my install. I got the unit the passenger kick panel. I think that is the best spot for it. You dont have to run wires from the back to the front. Everything is right where you need it.
