Does blown sub cause fuse to blow under the hood?

So today was driving with no music on. Radio was on but iPhone wasn't playing anything. I heard some funny noises from the sub so I looked in the trunk and there was white smoke and that crazy smell when you blow a sub. I looked under my hood and my 100a fuse was blown as well.

Do you guys think it was my sub that caused the fuse under the hood to blow or may it have Been my amp that did everything?

By the way I have a 1000/1 and a W6(well did have a w6 lolol)

When I say fuse under the hood, I mean the one on the power wire that runs to the amp

that happens to my car all the time. i just purchased an MTX Audio square sub with a 1200 watt amp. the fuse for the power wire goes out like every other day or so. so what i did to fix the problem was i just bought a pack of 100a and i just keep replacing them lol.

Why does everyone pay the high ass price of jl. Jl blows hard, so much better out there for less or same price. I always laugh at the noobs with jl set ups thinking they r so loud, then I shut them down with mine and just shake my head at them.

what are you running on1? i had a nice sundown sa8 and a old soundstream reference in my supra, was always fun to punk on people with much "bigger" set ups and then watch their faces when they find out i had an 8". it is really hard to understand why people spend so much on JL though. they are good but not good at all for the price point.

Nice I do love some sundown. Last set up was kinda a budget build. 2 memphis mojo 15's d2, 4 75ah batts, and audiopipe 3k with a custom box I built was like 9 cubes iirc with 2 6" aero's. Got nasty and was hitting a 151 and some change not too bad. I've stopped with my own stuff for now to concentrate on customers builds. Doing one this week for a cobalt. Getting a 93 lincoln town car in trade for a audio set up lol can't beat that
