Does anyone have a write-up on installing the avelectronic Nav-TV tuner system?
Not being familar with the Honda / XM wiring setup, is the XM connector to the back of the radio a 14 pin connector? If so, what you are asking sounds like it would work in theory but I can't confirm. It might be best to contact LogJam to confirm and verify their return policy if this doesn't work.
Well just as long as no one has anything terribly bad to say about Blitzsafe, I'll probably scoop it up. Dammit I can't wait for my TSX to get here!!!!
BTW, anyone know a good site to order screens for the headrest? (I was thinking about the pre-made set up, where you get the headrest and screen and pretty much just PnP)

I have considered in setting up a headrest LCD however it was either PNP or Custom. If I went with a custom, I would be limited to a 5 inch screen as the OEM headrest is small.
I did find this site:

2004 TSX is one of the choices for a 7 inch LCD headrest. If this is the case, that will change the look of your seats.

Best to see if anyone has Autotoys interface adapter.
Back to SHOND3 ($100) vs. Blitzsafe ($130). I would just go with the Blitzsafe as you dont' have to go out and get the Honda cable ($30) and then splice. Altogether it's the same price just no mess when you go with the Blitzsafe. That's just me though. See if anyone knows if there is sound quality difference thought. I'm quite happy with my setup above.

Cool. Glad it's working for you. My lost then.
Is it me or that the soundgate, blitzsafe, and autotoys adapter look exactly the same? I'm referencing to the black box itself, not the 14 pin cabling.

I am on the phone with Blitzsafe at the moment... they have not heard of the cable (I am furnishing them with the PN) but according to them the Blitzsafe adapter should totally mimic the changer. They are not sure what the OE makes happen, but believe that whatever the OE changer does, their adaptor will do. They agree that if there is any weird side effect, nothing will blow up.
Before I called they were telling people that to access that port the factory XM had to be disconnected. Now they are looking at my wiring diagrams and the PN of the harness, and I think they are going to buy one and check it out! They have a OE radio on the bench.
The Soundgate adapter was made for them by a firm that Blitzsafe bought... so the boxes according to their tech rep are identical. It's the harnesses that seem to vary... and Blitzsafe's is better, it seems.
Kudos to h-dood for staying with this and researching exhaustively! I wish more people exhibited this level of commitment to figuring something out!

soundgate aux3 install
This may help people with those wanting to toggle audio inputs from their snhond3 and blah.
Basically my car-setup is an snhond3 running to an ipod, and an avelectronics device in the back. The problem is if i run them with a rca-y adapter, i will get noise.
Well, there's this spiffy device, called the soudgate aux 3
http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soundaux3.html
which lets you toggle from 3 inputs. They give you a three-way rocker switch to install.
The installed 3 way rocker switch. The rocker switch is the one on the far right. Ehh.. install is a little sloppy but nobody will see it. And so much for the open button for the fogs hehe.
The pic of the soundgate aux3 box
The pic of the soundgate aux3 device
The rca input cables going into the device
The rest of the cables.
The main output of the device (goes into your snhond3)
What is really weird about this device is you need go ground it and wire it to a 12v power source. I connected it to the remote wire going out from the cigarette lighter.
Jumbled pic of the aux3 and the snhond3. I put the aux3 ontop of the snhond3 in my install.
Done.. everything inside
Finished install

Thanks for the info. I have the exact same setup as diagramed on LogJam. In my case though, I did not have noise but did have sound degraduation. I did post a thread about this: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16479
Thanks to elduderino, he responded that I need this device except $5 less then LogJam:

At the current time I won't be able to get this device anytime soon as I just bought a house this weekend and I have no more money to spend on the car for couple of months : (

Dude, your a life saver!!!
one quick question though, does the Aux3 adaptor only accept RCA inputs? like for the XM, it will only accept RCA's..........the reason i ask, is that in the accord, the XM has the honda plug, not rca's.
so, i think that the people with accord that ahve built in XM are still SOL.

I experienced the same issue with my setup (DVD/MP3, iPod, and XM). I believe the issue is that I have so many cable paths for the audio signal to traverse through, the audio decreases. With the AUX3 though, sounds like the devices can go straight to the adapter without having to go to a Y cable. The only down fall though is that you have to press an additional switch (3 way rocker switch) to select your audio to be played.
