Do I need another wire harness?

Ok I have spent a couple hours searching through the sticky's and other threads about installing an aftermarket stereo in an 03 TL while keeping the BOSE amp/speakers but haven't found any actual directions for installing a HU and keeping the stock amp/speakers. It seems like all the threads link to other threads which end up being broken links...

I bought a basic wire harness from walmart that has the power, ground, remote, speakers, etc etc but on its package it says I need another harness to integrate with the bose system.

So can anyone tell me which harness I need to make it work or what wires I need to splice into? Or give me a link to a thread that doesnt link to a broken link?

Thanks!

It's pretty simple with the metra harness.. It tells you what each wire is and "normally" matches up color for color to your aftermarket headunit but always look in the radios instruction manual for the same wiring diagram and make sure they match up.

You will lose the subwoofer, steering wheel controls and Navi voice if you have navi.

Just a question - I'm new to the TL world. If you use the 70-1725, that will provide line-level preouts, can you splice those into the line level inputs for the subwoofer so that you can retain functionality on the sub?

Unfortunately I don't think they've updated the harness specifically for the TL and the sub.

Will it retain the functionality for an '03 CL-S?
