yea go black, and clear coat it to hell, it would add contrast and stand out a bit more, and do an air brush on it?

lookin real good tho, pretty hot, 2 12s only?

Man that is gonna look sick. I'd say go with black. Maybe put some blue NEON in there somewhere to light it up.

As far as insulation goes most of what we're installing is going behind the fenders and bumper. As for what u see in the pics, that’s all dampening but that’s it for the dynamat. There'll be 1 more layer of a thicker material, meant more to capture some of the low freq noise coming into the car from the mufflers and pipes. In the end the whole trunk (the 3pieces) comes out pretty easily so I’m not too worried about it.

LOL I know but it's my every day driver, I don't need all that much. To me 2 12's is more then enough; I'm an old man now when it comes to sound. If it was up to me I’d have 1 good 10" mounted in a box in the rear deck (with the torsion bars removed of course.)

NewAys I appreciate the advice guys. I think I'm gonna stay with blue (abp) It's not my favorite but i think the black will take too much away from the intricacies of the work that was done (At least from what I’ve seen in the past.) We've decided to go with the 450/4 and the 1000/1in the brushed black finish and the alumapro Cap15 and D9 crossovers will sit in the spare tire well until i can figure out something else to put there.

You can put a much bigger tweeter in those than in the OEM tweeter sail location of the CL, and also you want the path length between the two as close to the same as possible.

^ yeah.
For the TL yes, that is the best place to mount the tweeters (without ruining the look of the dash)

It's set up for two W6v2's but if i was to do it over it would be with a pair of D9's or even 2x 21WX's. But the W6v2's are 3rd in my book for SPL while still retaining a good amount of SQ so it should sound just fine.

I think Selectproducts.com may still sell their how-to vids on their website but if i remember correctly they're pretty expensive. We've had them at the shop forever and I require everyone of my installers to watch them no matter there experience level.

Here's some better pics of what we have so far:

And the center piece for the trunk is being worked on as we speak.

Witch will soon become the rack for the D9 crossovers:
