I had a thread like this in my previous car forum. It ended up being a great source of ideas for sub and amp setups. Just post pics of your setup and the specs of the equipment your running. I would start it off, but I am looking for ideas myself.

well my car is in the shop so i can't get the pics........but i have a kicker solo baric L7 15"......2,000 peak.....1,000 rms.........with an audio bahn av1600.....1600watts rms........when i installed it i just wanted to get done right away.......i had been waiting for a long ass time to do a custom box but i gave up.......(for the time being)........so i got a box thats at the min cu ft of air.......1.5........i'm planning on a custom box not a custom trunk i still want to use my trunk from time to time.....

Im gonna be installing a total of three Clarion amplifiers (2 mono, 1 4-ch) and two Clarion 12" subwoofers...

all controled by a brand new clarion vrx775vd headunit going through a clarion 5-bands (7v pre-outs) equalizer...

I CANT WAIT!!

Sounds great. Yep, Bostons Pro60's. The bass actually is more than enough, if not too much. The amp is 600 watts. Next car, I won't go bigger than 10".

 

Yeah with those solo's you get a heck of alot more air displacement. I love how the bostons sound to.

 

This is what I have for now... A Type R 12" sub, Alpine MRD-M605 for the sub, and (not seen) Alpine MRP-F450 for highs.



Once the weather breaks here in Philly I'm gonna make some changes to the set up.... Including adding a Alpine PXA-H701 to my IVA-W200 and upgrading my front door speakers to a set of 2-Way components.

WOW you guys have some serious S*** i just bought a cl-s i have a few questions i bought a 12" l7 and a alpine amp i also installed to eclipse 6x9's i need to know where/how to get threw the trunk to the car to run the speaker and 4 gauge wires any pics??
