Crossover in Tweeters?

Well, I'm still getting that damn buzzing with certain notes in my tweeters. At the suggestion of one of my friends, I installed a 2.2uF capacitor, in-line on each tweeter. The buzzing is still there, but the tweeters sound almost clearer if you can believe that.

So bottom line, has the mystery of the cross-over function for the tweeters been solved? I've read post after post and it seems that there is already an inline capacitor, or the amp serves as an active cross-over.

Also, based on what I'm experiencing, should I replace the tweeters to get rid of the buzzing?

Thanks again guys/gals!

Wow, you don't have to go that far I did read your post about the fading of the speakers last night and this morning on the way to work I tried it. To my surprise the buzzing seemed to go away for almost every song except for some NOFX songs and some Beatles songs....yeah I know.....weird combo.

So maybe the stock amp dosn't push enough power???? Oh well, I'm too much of a newb to make those assumptions. I'll let you guys fight it out
