connecting ipod to aftermarket headunit

connecting ipod to aftermarket headunit

hey guys, i want to conenct my ipod to my pioneer headunit. i thought it was possible to to just connect a rca cable and i could switch inputs on the H/U. i went to bestbuy and they showed mye this module for 200 bucks. is there wany other way to do this?!!?

There is a somewhet cheaper method where the bus cable on the Pioneer is connecteed to an RCA adapter. The cable ain't cheap but it ain't $200. It's $35 if you don't have a changer (CDRB10), and $75 if you do (CDRB20).
