Thanks to ShawWhite's guidance -- I was able to hook up my FACTORY sub to my aftermarket h/u using an aftermarket amp. Sounds good, and you don't need to waste space in your trunk with another sub. All you need are special crimpers to hook onto the sub and hook up your amp like you normally would (Remote Lead, Power, Ground, RCA input) If anyone wants more info.. let me know.
