Question component speakers?

I'm wondering..what are the best component speakers out there? right now I just want to replace the speakers. and install some tweeters. for now. So let me know what's good out there.

Carfreak basically just posted everything I'd suggest...Image dynamics...those're my personal choices. But I'll never leave my 3 way JL components...although Infinity produces better coaxials IMHO.

But the best suggestion...act like a very rich guy and go into a car audio shop and look interested in buying. Tell the guy to set you up with a couple different brands...the ones Carfreak suggested if they have them, and listen to preferably YOUR music. Tell him to leave you the hell alone too...don't sit there and try to sell you crap. And just listen...and pick. Bring different types of the music you listen to too...ya know like a hard bass beat, high vocals, good midbass groove, etc.

the best ....hmm....hands down, its gotta be the rainbow reference series. you're looking at about $3000 just for a pair of speakers. you did say best rite??

Yo Ray, i'm gonna do the same as u and get all my speakers replaced. I'm also going to get a single 12" sub. When u got the time i can get you really good deals because my friends are sponsored by some of these stores.
