Opinions on the JBL BP300.1 mono-amp

I'm looking to purchase a mono-amp to run a Rockford Fosgate HE2 Dual Voice Coil 10" woofer.

I saw this amp on sale on crutchfield.com and want to know if anyone has any +/- opinions about this amp.

I'm NOT looking to compete in any audio competitions or anything, just wanted something to add extra "umph" to the sound system.

Also as you already know, the speaker level inputs are key for our application.

This is the woofer I own already:

This is the amp I'm looking to get to power the woofer:

I'm actually going to order elsewhere, cause I know I can get it cheaper than from Crutchfield.

I think you want to ask Crazy Acura. He had this amp in his first setup.

great amps!! I did a system with the 600 watt version running 2 boston pro 12's in a jeep grand cherokee. Lets just say its very difficult to sit in the rear seat with the music on.
