I have an entire 6.5 JL component speaker and amp system that I want to put in but I was hoping to not have to run a ton of wires to the doors. I took a look at the wiring diagram and saw that the wires that run to the door speaker also run to the tweeter. With a component system you have a crossover that takes both speakers separately and then sends a wire pair to the amp. I was wondering if the Bose system has a crossover somewhere before the amp, possibly in the door or around that area, that I have to bypass. I was hoping to just tap into the wires at the amp and mount the crossovers in the trunk but it isnt looking too good at this point and I will probably have to run separate wires to each speaker (through the door jambs *bashes head*) back to the amp. Any one know of a crossover in the stock system or have any other ideas?
