Ive searched and found that most people go with the Polk Audio for the components in the 2nd gen TL's but i would still like an opinion...

which set should i go with? and should i get 6.5s or 5.25s???which fit best and give the best sound quality?? thanx for ur responses

 

I'd go with the Kappa set in a 6.5" given those options. I had a Kappa set once before (the 60.3cs) and it sounded great.

I've owned Polk stuff and it's pretty good too... although I liked the Infinity set more. I currently have a set of Boston SL65's which are great, but if you want to spend the extra (on Boston) the Boston Pros sound amazing given enough power.

 

I just picked up a set of Focal 165v2 and I couldn't be happier... now if I could just learn how to tune me EQ!!!

 

I've got the old school 6.5 Infinity Perfect Components. Some of the best ever made!

our doors fit the 6.5", i would go infinity over pioneer, but dimond audio and focal make some great sound

 

got myself some Focal 165KFs, and MY GOD it sounds good, kills my old Infinity References, and outperform my Kappas on the rear deck


Focal is definately worth the money



but if my choice is those 2 id probably pick the Pioneers, the Infinity has those Annodized Aluminum dome tweeters, and theyre way too bright for me anyways
