CL Wire colors and locations

The following is a load of wiring I have had written down for ages for our cars. Also some of it is gathered from working on other CL's. This information is provided AS IS and I am NOT responsible if you burn down your car. ALWAYS test all wiring with a digital multimeter before making ANY sort of connection to your factory wiring.

Wire colors will be listed as SOLID/STRIPE COLOR followed by polarity. If no polarity is listed, it is generally positive.

Ignition Wiring
Constant 12v: White
Starter: Black/white
Ignition: Black/Yellow
Accessory: Yellow
Second Accessory: White/Black
Keysense: Blue/White(-)

Audio:
This wiring applies to behind the radio and at the bose amp
Constant 12v: White/Yellow
Switched 12v: White/Red
Ground: Black
Positive Illumination: Red/Black (Also would be a parking light trigger)
Amp turnon / Power Antenna: Yellow/White
Speaker wires (Direct to speakers) can be found at the radio or the factory amp
Left front Speaker +/- : Blue/Green Grey/Black
Right Front Speaker +/- : Red/Green Brown/Black
Left Rear Speaker +/- : Blue/Yellow Grey/White
Right Rear Speaker +/- : Red/Yellow Brown/White

Accessory wiring ie: Lights, locks
A lot of this wiring is found at the security module under the pass seat, these wires will be referred to as PIN @ SM
Power Lock Trigger: Red/Yellow (-) B17 @ SM
Power Unlock Trigger: Red/Blue (-) B6 @ SM
Lock Motor: White/Red (+) A9 @ SM
Unlock Motor: Gray (+) A5 @ SM
Parking lights Trigger: Red/Black (+) A11 @ SM -OR- Headlight switch, hazards, radio
Left Turn Signal Trigger: Green/Blue (+) @ Column
Right Turn Signal Trigger: Green/Yellow (+) @ Column
Headlight Trigger: Blue/Black (+) B16 @ SM -OR- Headlight Switch
Reverse Light: Green/Black (+) Driver side kick panel
Door Trigger (-): Black / White B12 @ SM - OR- Pin switch in door jamb
Dome Supervision: Black/White (-) B12 @ SM -OR - Pin switch in door jamb
Factory Trunk Pin: Light Green/Black B9 @ SM
Factory Hood Pin: Light Green B1 @ SM
Trunk Pop Motor: Blue/Red (+) A4 @ SM or I believe in pass side harness to rear
Factory Alarm Disarm w/o Unlock: Blue (-) B8 @ SM
Tachometer Signal: Blue (AC) Can find this at the tach connector near the firewall in the engine bay on the pass side (near cruise control) or behind the cluster
Speed Sense: Blue/White or Orange (AC) @ ECU
Brake Wire: Green / White @ Brake pedal or driver side harness to rear or fuse box
Parking Brake: Green / Red @ Parking brake handle
Horn Trigger: Blue/red or Light Green / Blue @ Column
Wipers: Low: Blue (-) High: Blue/Yellow (-) @ switch

Power Window Motor Wire Colors
Window motors swap power / ground over the two wires given to either make the windows go up or down. If you supply only 12v to one side and not ground to the other, nothing will happen.

If you supply 12v to the Up wire and ground to the down wire, the window will go up, and the same goes for putting the window down.

Driver Up/Down: Red/Yellow and Red/Blue @ Switch in driver door
Passenger Up/Down: Blue/Yellow and Blue In driver kick panel

Coming soon: Retained Accessory Power wiring

Yeah, should be helpful for just about any electrical DIY project. Priceless if someone wants to install their own alarm or remote starter.
