Installing 2 way alarm
Im installing an Avital 5303 2 way alarm and I needed some help with some wires.....I was wondering if someone could tell me where to find certain wires and if they could also tell me if I am going to use the correct wires.
H1 Harness
H1/2 Red (+) 12v Constant Input
H1/3 Brown (+) Siren Output
H1/5 Black (-) Chassis Ground
H1/7 Blue (-) truck pin (don’t use/just ground?)
H1/8 Green (-) Door Trigger Input ……..Pink (Kick Panel-Thin Wide White Connector)
H1/9 black/white dome light (-)(optional?just ground?)
H1/10 White/Blue (-) Remote Start/Turbo Timer Activation Input …….(Connect to ground?)
H1/11 White Parking Light Output (+)……Red w/Silver Dots FuseBox(Front) Large Green connector
H1/12 Orange Ground when armed output ......(dont use?)
H3 Harness
H3/1Black/White neutral Safety input……Connect to ground?
H3/2Violet/White Tach…….??? Cant find the wire
H3/3Brown Brake shutdown ……….LIGHT GREEN (+) (AT SWITCH ABOVE BRAKE PEDAL)
H3/4Gray Hoodpin shutdown…..Gray w/2 Silver Dots(FuseBox, Front left lower corner-Large Blue connector)
H3/5Blue/White(-) 200ma 2nd status/defogger- optional? (Possibly Connecting to Idatalink bypass to “Ground out while running wire” ??)
DoorLock
Green (-)lock (+) unlock….Connect to BLUE (-) ( IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL)
Blue (+)unlock(-)lock....Connect to GRAY (-) ( IN DRIVERS KICK PANEL)
Satellite Relay
PURPLE (+) starter output
Yellow, IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
GREEN starter input
Same Yellow wire above?
RED (2) (+)12V input for high current outputs
White…..IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
ORANGE (+) accessory output
Red(+)……IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
PINK (+) ignition output
Blue(+)……IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
PINK/WHITE (+) second ignition output
