Circuit City

I went to Circuit City and they will not install a sub or a to the stock system. How much do the bose subs cost, the dealership they were very pricey.

have you considered doing it yourself. it's not that difficult. 2hrs, max. the only real tough part is running the power cable from the hood to the trunk.

i had more trouble finding a good ground for my amp than running the power cable. that is very straightforward.

Did they give you a reason why? I would never let them touch my car but I have never heard of them saying no to an install. And doing it yourself is easy.

mretif,

You've got a nice set of wheels -- don't think of letting Circuit City even LOOK at your car.

Also, it's ok to be concerned about accidentally screwing up even a modest modification. If you can afford it, take your car to a COMPETENT car stereo shop that will give you an estimate of exactly how much they'll charge to do quality work. Then make your decision based on the fact that you're driving a $30,000+ car, not a boy-racer special.

BTW, why would you EVER want to add the OEM "TL" Blowz subwoofer to your car instead of a decent sub?

dont go to any place like circuit city or best buy ...etc...they all suck no matter what they say...go to a car audio specialist that has done good work and have proof of it...i wouldnt really trust al and ed's audio either...

I am in agreement with Chigga on not going to CC or Best Buy for installs. You just don't want to take the chance that a technician who is not qualified will really screw things up.
