Check this out!

Hi all,
I'm pretty sure this thread is started in the wrong area, but I'll leave it to our wonderful team of moderators to sort it out...I just wanted to get this out in circulation.

A few years ago, I built a carputer for mp3 playback, with the eventual goal of incorporating full-blown computer functionality (GPS, networking, etc). Fortunately for me, I got the navi now, so I don't have to worry about that. I was toying with the idea of buying the OEM mp3 player, but have lately been thinking of switching my carputer from my Pathfinder to my TSX. My wife would kill me if I did this (she's dead set against most mods, especially ones that ultimately impact that re-sale value in a negative way!)...but I'm the type of guy that would rather build it than buy it, so damn the torpedos, I think I'm going to move it anyway. (the 4x40 display would fit nicely in the "This Is Not An Ashtray" area me thinks...I'm away on business for another week (a month total...SUX!) so I won't be able to measure for sure, but the display is the same size as a single DIN aftermarket unit).

Here's a link to the page on my website that has full disclosure about how I did this, and plenty of pics. Word of warning though, the pics aren't easy to find; they're in the body of the text in smaller grey typing. If you read through start-to-finish, it'll make sense. If anyone else is interested in something like this, I can try to help.

Cheers,
SoopirV900 (aka Hoser, aka Dave)
