Lightbulb Cheap Add In Sub w/o new amp

I am just wondering if it is a good idea to plug a 4 ohm subwoofer into the ready and waiting blose subwoofer amp in the trunk. Just in case its a pyle 10" ported sub with plexiglass.

Thanks in adv.

No... it would be a waste of money! If you're not willing to spend the money to buy an amp also... don't waste your time. I would also recommend on going with a different sub than Pyle.

My opinion on audio equipment is: Why spend any money at all if there is little to no difference from before? If you want to upgrade, it is worth doing it correctly the first time, so you won't later go back again and upgrade over the upgrade.... wasting a lot of money.

just my $0.02

Thanx alot for your input, its much appreciated, but do you think the pyle sub would sound better than the bose with the bose connectors, or would the bose sound better?

Thanx in adv.

hmm i dont know , sony sub's are pretty cheap nowadays, theyre pretty good, and maybe a sony amp or a cerwin amp, i love those, something along those lines just anything mostly within your price range if yourthinking low budget, when your dealing with more money and bigger products then you have to really worry about what your purchasing

The infinity basslink is a nice choice if you just want to add a little boom. It retails at Circuit City for $500 but you can find them @ ebay for less than $200. They have a built in 200 watt amp and sound pretty good. It was very easy to install and has speaker level inputs
