Changing radio

Just bought an Acura radio on ebay which came out of a 2003 TL, and I own a 2000 TL. I see the radio has the cd changer built in and it is made by Pioneer. I haven't taken my dashboard apart yet - but does anyone know if this unit will fit my car?

Why don't you install it in your car and tell us if it works or not?

even tho you got it from fleabay... congratulations... yes. it will work direct plug in make sure you have the security code. my dealer gave me a hard time before i showed them a legitmate receipt of $100 that i bought from a collision center.

2003 radio changer played ALL my CDRs while the 99-01 struggles.

i swapped my 99 radio with my grandmothers 02 radio before we sold her TL-S.... it works great, but you gotta have the tray abobe it too. The cd holder thingy in the 99-01's is too big, so you gott have the ghetto business card holder version for the 02-03... otherwise, its a direct swap.

I just did a swap with an 02, but it had problems with the CD tray above. The one from my 99 worked just fine. Hmmmm.... Anyways, the 02-03 HU's play CD-Rs with NO PROBLEMS, plus you now have a time readout for the track (at least when you hit FF/RW).

What can I do about the CD tray?
Also, will the wire harness simply snap right in?
My old one didn't have the built in changer and this one does - will that matter?
