Changing head unit.

hey hey, watsup guys. I have a 2000 tl, and I was wondering if I change my headunit to lets say a pioneer or something to that effect( I will not touch the rest of the stock bose) will the quality of the sound be that much better? Because my friend told me that he knows someone that changed the head in a 99Maxima with the Bose and it sounded much much better. Any input would be appreciated.

thanx.(ohh and maybe switching out the amp to a rocksford)

The stock head unit works with the stock eq which is maximized for the stock bose speakers. Would suggest to change the entire system for quality sound. The system sounds good, but if you have good after market equipment it sound even better

GrKsTyLa,

I would say that replacing the speakers will do more good than changing out the head unit. Take a look at a thread I created a few weeks back that talks about stock vs aftermarket head units.
