Cell Phone Antenna
I have had a Nokia Handfree Cell Phone Kit for my Nokia 6100 series phone and decided a while ago to get an exterior antenna since I don't get good reception by me. I hooked the thing up (glass mount) and the signal is worse when it is in the cradle getting a signal form the exterior antenna then when its just getting a signal thru its own stubby antenna. Any ideas on why this is happening? Its an amplified antenna by the way. Thanks

I think I read somewhere that it has to be pointing strait up or it doesn't work as well. Hope that helps.

it may have something to do with the radio antena being in the glass too, i'm not too sure, but that would be my guess... best bet, ask Acura.

Depends on your 6100; is it 6160 TDMA, 6185 CDMA, or 6190 GSM? Is it OEM Nokia handsfree kit?

You must make sure you use a CDMA antenna. Any antenna will not work so well.
