CDs stuck

The CD changer swallowed a CD on top of the other one.....
What to do? Do i need to take it out and unscrew the whole thing, or is it done, and there is no way to fix it now?

If it won't come out then yes, you will have to disassemble the player in order to get the CD's out. And the player probably won't work afterward. But you may get lucky. We replace a lot of factory in-dash changers for this very reason at work.

Do you have a 2nd gen TL? If so there are several techniques for getting the CDs out. I forget the details but one involves the use of a flat piece of metal such as a nail file and another involves smacking the dash near the radio. Search the forum for more details.

Good luck!

OK, check out the following threads:

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-problems-fixes-117/bose-cd-changer-doesnt-work-623529/

For future reference, I found these with Google using the search terms "CD", "stuck" and "nail file" while limiting the search to Acurazine.com:

Post an update if anything works.

Well if you want to maintain the factory look, you can buy a used replacement on eBay, the Black Market Forum or on Car-Part.com.

it's very simple. Have another CD ready. If CD hangs up / gets stuck while ejecting, just put the edge of the other CD on top of the edge of the stuck CD and press down lightly. Get your other CD (the one in your hand) out of the way. That will free up the stuck CD and it will finish ejecting.

I used tweezers and flat head screwdrivers and anything else I could think of before I realized that I could just use the CD I was holding in my hand instead. This way you don't have to carry any special tools around to eject CD's and you don't damage them.
