Question CD Changer Q's

A friend of mine was going to buy a changer for his accord and asked me what was the difference between the RF and the R CD Changers. I think it is the "radio frequency" or something like that, but it reffers to the way you connect the changer to your headunit/ and the way you can access the changer? right?

I don't even know if he has a stock headunit in, I would assume he does and wants to add a changer to the trunk.

If that is the case does it matter what changer YOU chooose to attach to a stock 96-98 accord headunit.

I am looking for advice on this topic as well as an opinion on what changer should be purchased.

Thanks for any info, it is appreciated. Cheers!!

rf works thru one of the fm stations like 89.1FM, and direct controls thru radio and ofcourse sound much better.
