Rear deck rattle trap

I believe the most likely source of rear deck rattles is the center brake light housing. If you lean your head in under the rear deck and start knocking with your fist on the underside of the deck, you'll excite the rattles and can locate them pretty easily. I found the worst ones this way and stuffed some foam into the openings in the sheet metal deck. (I would love to just take out the whole flimsy deck and replace it with a steel brace between the shocks and then attach a new shelf made from MDF, but this will never happen...)
I also found that the frames of the stock Blose speakers were rattling against the edges of the holes in which they are mounted and also against the plastic spacer attached to the top of them.

I have a rattle coming from my back seat area that Greyjhu finally identified as the back right Bose speaker cover. It's either rattling against the speaker housing, or the back window itself... need to check again and wedge something in there or pull the cover off and make it flush.

Never had this rattle until the basslink

Once I installed replaced the rear deck speakers with a new set of MB Quarts the rear deck vibrates like mad. Felt it before reinstalling the rear speaker deck panel.
