I heard them before several years ago. They are very good speakers, but kind of expensive. The midrange is very smooth, which it is known for.

Unless you have a very good set of ears, you will not be able to enjoy these high end speakers. If you are going to buy these speakers, you might want to change your headunit first, and then get a very good amp to drive them. I think it'll be a waste of money unless you are going for competition.

 

for that kinda of dough go with focals, or Dynaudio or $400 for the CD Techs...

If you have a PPI amp, it should be good. But again, unless you are going competition, get the Focal Utopia/MB Quart Q series/CD Techs/Boston Pros/Polk-MOMO.

It really depends on personal taste. You should listen to each set first and decide for yourself. I might like a set of speakers and you might not.

 

Check out the sig, I have Boston Pro's and I love them!! Had them pushed with a Xtant 3300c, pre-amped with audio control Four.1, source was an alpine cd...old school one though. Sound was awesome...hopefully I will get a new amp soon. My xtant was ripped off from my truck.
