can't decide what to do to upgrade my system

so, I want a better system than the stock bose ones, and am willing to get rid of the stock HU but would like to keep it stock if possible. i know you can do this with aftermarket subs but idk about speakers.

also.

what speakers/hu/amp/ and a sub that would fit in the rear deck space thats currently being occupied by the stock bose sub.

i'm a noob when it comes to car elctronics

Not sure about that car. But im sure your gonna get ppl sayin diff brands and such everybody likes diff companys and some on here sell certain brands so they try to push those. I myself like a wide variety. I would also suggest figuring out your budget. Then go from there. Also do you want sound quality and moderate bass or more.

My first recommendation, replace the front speakers. If I can recall correctly, the TLs have front separates. Start by replacing the 6 1/2" doors with Polk Audio db651s. (priced around $100) you'll notice a HUGE improvement in sound quality from the fronts. As far as HUs go, you can get a single or double DIN to fit in, just depends on your flavor. I personally have 2-single DINs, one being a DSP that controls my entire audio setup.
