Question Can somebody post or email pics of thier custom dash kits

Who has had a custom dash kit fabricated for an aftermarket headunit installation? Can you post or email me pics?

Also, what does everyone prefer as far as headunit installation oreintation: flush mount or surface mount?

Thanks,
Ryan

Here is my custom dash. I moved the factory navi down and placed a LCD monitor in place of the stock headunit. The dash kit is made from black plexiglass. I have recently upgraded the monitor you see there from a Santeca to a Pioneer setup which plays dvd's as well.

Hey D, how much did that custom work including the monitors cost you? I have a friend who has a Diamante interested in one of those installs like that.

I have the wood dash kit. Check the piece that goes around the stereo...

I have it on with double sided tape. When I do the HU I plan on reusing that piece to make it look good.

In the meantime I managed to get Tim to send me the piece that goes around all the stock HU... as in this pic.

Question

Hey Nate, I like how it doesn't cover the stereo face - good idea about using it for new h/u!

I wanna know where you got that too! Also, did it come with the trim pieces for around the air vents? I see you don't have any installed....thanks!

Cool

Please excuse the grease marks on the right side of the head unit. The pictures were taken at the time of install. It looks clean now.

Woodview? Wood-something. I got it from Tim before he started selling the 26 piece kits. I haven't measured the stereo piece but I hope that my new HU will fit.
