how would u go about overriding the safey feature that the Alpine CVA-1005 has that i cant watch video unless the parking brake is on. is there any way of over riding it? do i just take the brake wire and connect it together? and where is it?

 

IT's easy...on the brain there are two wires...they are both yellow...one has a black stripe, and one has a blue stripe. All you have to do is connect the yellow w/black to the brake (which it already is if you have it installed already). The yellow w/blue, just connect to a switch that goes to ground. When you first start the car, push and hold in the brake, flip the switch you added on, off, and back on, and let go of the brake. Now you don't need the e-brake and can watch whenever you want
