BOx Help

I am really tight on space and I have a L5 12 in a sealed box but want louder basss. Is there a ported box out there that is made just for the Solobaric and that wont take up that much space. My sub sits on the side of the trunk oppisite from the jack stand, I remove the cubby pocket thing on the side so the box almost look like it came from factory.

You can download the technical document for the Kicker subs off of their site www.kicker.com which includes recommended sealed and ported boxes. Take that to a local cabinetmaker/woodworker or build it yourself.

Depending on what you're driving it with, you could pour more power into it. If you're looking to go deeper, an electronically assisted subwoofer circuit could extend the response of your sealed sub into the bottom octave, but you'll trade overall SPL for deeper bass. Hope that helps.
