Go to Crutchfield.com, go outfit my car... If you be more specific about the types of music you like to listen and at what volume levels. The guys on this forum will help you out from there. Btw you blew the front or the back?

I agree, it all depends on what kind of music you listen to and how loud you listen to that music.

I listen to rock, and not too loud. The Front 2 blew and also the back right is partially shitty.

Your best bet is to find other cars with aftermarket speakers installed. Personally, I like Pioneer comp sets, specifically the TS-A's, especially when on a halfway tight budget. The TS-A's can be found BNIB for around $110 shipped, which is very nice. The "problem" with them is that they really need to be amped, which is not hard to find, but just saying because an amp means extra wire and everything else.

What's your budget? That is always the most important place to start with audio stuff...

all of my speakers blew on my 01 CL-S. i recently replaced front with polk audio's (because they were 80% off on amazon) and alpine type-s for the rears. the alpines overpower the polks so i cant really hear the front speakers but if you dont like too loud i would suggest alpine-S all around or alpine-R if you want the good stuff.

i got polks(6x5) for 35 bucks and alpine-S(6x9) for 120.

Yea i was checking out speakers, Polk d6501 components seem to be the way to go. You are going to spend around 160-170 all together. But its worth it. Btw Matt, im still debating on T3 or these Polk's. What do you say?

Btw Frank, it depends on your sitting position when you are driving. All my speakers are stock Bose. And most of the time i feel like my back speakers are more powerful, because seat is reclined to the back quite a bit.

I haven't heard the T3's, but I wouldn't run that series of Polks. I'd step up the MM series. They used to be the MMC's and I had 2 sets and loved them. Great speakers if you can find them cheap. I think I got mine for $180 a set and that was a good deal on them.
