Best Sub for RF T20001BD

How would you run the W7 off of that amp? 3 ohms? Yeah, that might work, but the Omega could be run at 1 ohm, and would get much louder... Plus I'm pretty sure that he already ordered his Omega...

Just saw this. i wouldn't screw it to the box due to flex. i think it looks horrible too lol. i would put it on the seatback.

Go with one JL w7, with the amp running easy. You will have the best sound and you wont need to run your amp very hard, which will help you with your charging system and that amp will never have a problem.

A W7 is going to be a waste of cash... He could spend the extra $300 or so on his electrical system, and be probably twice as loud... Besides, like I said, I think he already ordered the Omega...
To the OP, any updates?

1 question though, which side do you recommend to put on last. That way I can put all the angles in and fit everything properly. I built a box 1 time before which was a couple years ago and I remember that it was a pain in the ass to put together because I should have put one side in last that way I had easy access to put the other pieces in place.

Well I just built a box with a similar setup, just not ported... Here's a pic of that box:
Anyway, what I wish I would've done would be to build the back and sides on the bottom board first. Then put the port in, then the front piece, and finally the top... I'd also build the port separately, so that you can put the 45's in it... Another thing I would do would be to put a 45 in the back corner opposite the port. I don't think the Omega will have any problem moving air, but you wouldn't want to create a dead space in that corner... Also put a 45 on the back of the port, and cut the port at an angle like I did. These are some of the lesser known secrets to building more efficient enclosures...

why are you getting upset LOL...
i rather take the sub 7x cheaper and just beat people that spent there money on w7s trying to be loud. price the 13w7 at 250-300 and i'd be all over it. but for the 1200 dollar pricetag(crutchfield prices) i'd get something else.
btw, was it in a low tuned box built for daily listening? or was tuned high and shooting for spl?

Id personally take a W7 if I saw a deal that seemed reasonable...they're really nice subs. JL's aren't known for spl but are good for sq. There are louder subs available for cheaper. But in the right box they can get loud.

yes it was and look what little bitch just flopped when he's told he doesnt know what he's talking about. Fucking clowns on this site

oh and by the way, i build all my own boxes with Bass box pro, it takes the added guess work out, and it will even graph the output for you. So one day when you fucking grow up and can figure that shit out you might wanna try the program
