What do you expect from it? That will make your questions easier to answer.

It will be "OK" for low end. If you are serious about your system you should look elsewhere for the designs required to provide the low end kick.

It all boils down to two things.....money....and time........

If you have an abundance of either, you'll forget about the basslink and design a system that works properly.

My 2 cents only.

I would add two more things: 1) It will take up less space and 2) Amp and sub are all in one package which makes the install much easier. Although I can't directly comment on the performance of the Basslink, several members of the forum have given it positive reviews.

yea, i have the basslink and am very satisfied with it. it also depends on the genre of music you listen to. it does hit farely well to some extent, but it is no outside ground shaker like other component subs. i personally listen to a lot of dave matthews bad which has a nice sound with the basslink because it still hits those low frequencys clearly. i do occasionally listen to some hip hop, and i must say that it does do the job if you are needing extra space in the trunk. sorry for the long post, but i am very satisfied with the product and would suggest to get it. try to listen to one too in a TL/CL if you can to get a picture of what it does.
