Bass and Treble

Hi my mom just bought a 01 TL and the cars great. I was wondering what settings would be best with the bass and treble to get more of a "boom" sound. Also whats the default for the bass and treble anyone kno? thanks.

adjust it to whatever sounds best to you with the music you are listening to. pre set is in the middle for both. my bass is full and treble is about 3/4

when you're in the middle of the range, you'll feel it "catch". you can keep turning until it's max (to the right).

yea... I've got my bass up about 3/4 and treble up about 1/2. I cant have my bass full cause my ****in subwoofer keeps rattling. I wish there was a way to keep that thing quiet.... for ****s sake!

good luck getting any real boom out of the little stock sub. I took mine out and dropped a JL 10w6 in the trunk and left the sub hole open, like a port. Only problem is, when you hit the brakes at night the brake light reflects on the rear window. Gonna fix that eventually.

I hate a lot of bass... but I do love the occasional thump. I really like the stock system in my TL, its just that damned rattle....

Don't know.. I ripped the stock system out as soon as I got my TL. Sounded terrible, in my humble opinion.

bring it to a dealer to have it looked at. 1 of my speakers was rattling and they found out that it was defective and replaced it for me.
