Hello, I've got a 3rd Gen TL with Navigation, but the Navigation DVD ROM unit is missing in the trunk. I really don't care about not having Navigation at this point, but I'd like to hookup a backup camera into the nav harness.

I've seen this mod that sends a signal through the Nav DVD unit, but I don't have that unit:

I think there should be a way to plug directly into the harness in the trunk; its just power and signal, right? Couldn't be that easy. Any thoughts or experience trying this? Be creative
