Sup guys, i am interested in getting one of these in my car, Pioneer AVIC-N1, does anyone here have it in there car?? If yes, please feel free to write your reviews. thanx

 

i put it in my dads benz. amazing unit. everything works flawlessly until i got into manhatten and then the streets were just to frequent and it couldnt keep up. another issue, it gives off this annoying hum. i think its the fan. but its annoying as hell. i would suggest a dvd changer so you can switch navi and movies easily

 

^^ sup patel, sorry mate i dont have the 00 TL with navi no more . BUT worry not, just sold that one so that i can get into the no nvai 02 TL-S, loving the car already. Anways thanx for the advice, but do you think its worth puttin up with that humming noise? i mean the unit does have some great features, i love the built in navi set up, so that you dont have to go out and spend extra dough to get the navi. I am in the market to get one of these, or a Kenwood 915, kenwood 815 is a nice unit as well, but i am leaning towards the Pioneer one,

 

thats a sweet unit. im also looking at it and the kenwood. i have heard good things about the kenwood

 

Most dealers are out of the AVIC-N1 and they are expecting the new AVIC-N2 any day now. Unfortunatley the supply for n1's was so limited that there probaly won't be any deals on close out units.

 

It was a decent unit except for that fan. When i first installed it i thought it was due to a bad ground and it was driving me crazy till i jumped on an audio forum and had confirmation it was the fan

 

I'm considering between either the Kenwood or the Eclipse unit
