AUX on non nav TSX question

Right now I have nothing hooked up to my AUX, so is it normal that when I push the CD/AUX button twice nothing happens? My concern is that when I hook up the SHOND3 to my AUX that it wont work. Maybe I am just having pre-install paranoia....

Yep that's normal man. When you have one of those SNHOND3 or Blitzsafe adapters hooked up to the AUX input, that's the only time you will see the "CD-C" mode when pressing the CD/AUX button.

Before I got my SNHOND3, mine didn't do anything either when I pressed CD/AUX twice

The SNHOND3 and others emulate a cd changer to make the HU think there's one connected. That's what you need them for. It's more than just a l/r audio signal. If the HU doesn't receive a "signature" signal of a cd changer, it won't go to aux mode.

It's super easy. Is the shop gonna charge you? You might wanna even do it yourself.

On the TSX, the AUX port is on the bottom of the factory HU. So the only thing you'll need to remove is the storage bin. put a CD/mirror in there, so you can easily see the plug, and then plug it in.

From there, they will just need to plug the output of the Sirius tuner into the SNHOND3

they are not charging me... plus i'm having them put the antennae on the drivers side above the windshield instead of the passenger side

that way trees will not cause interference as much...that seems to be when it cuts out, on these new england roads with trees hanging over
