AUX Input for stock '99 TL Bose HU

I'm looking for a way to hook my iPod to my Bose HU without using the cassette adaptor. Do these HU's have CD Changer inputs that can be used? Any AUX inputs?

Cheers!

try the blitz car audio website. They make adapters for the cd changers. If one is made they will have it

AUX Input

Jay,

I'm a little ignorant on these blitz converters - since you hooked it up through your CD changer, does that mean you have to plug in your iPOD in the trunk, or can you have it up front?

dsclaus,

I hooks up to the rear of the HU via a molex connector (the CD Changer jack) - the wire is about 6" to a small box where two RCA jacks come out of, also about 6". I connected my MP3 to the RCA jacks with a 1/8" headphone to RCA cable.

I have everything up front.

Cheers!

Besides the cd- changer do you have any mods to your system? I am about to add an alpine changer to my 99tl. Did you need an adapter to connect the changer and how did you get the remote up front?

Anyone know if you can use the blitz dual CD/AUX with the factory in trunk cd changer? I have a 2000TL.

I searched and read like 10 threads, but no one explicitly states which dual adapter supports the factory in trunk changer.

Naresh,

I'm gonna take a wild guess here, but I belive the factory CD Changer will plug directly into the Bose HU via the 12? pin molex connector.

The Blitzsafe AUX DMX v.1 that I have plugged into the molex, simulates a CD changer and provides dual RCA inputs so I can plug my MP3 player in without using the cassette adaptor.

Hope this helps!

Yes, it works on the factory IN DASH 6 disk changer.....

NO, it does not support the factory external cd changer....only alpine or pioneer changers will work with the dual mode blitz adapter.

We have them both in stock, 732-388-7000 or email info@streeteffectz.com for more info
