Audio Upgrade In Honda Oddyssey

I have been given the task by my sister to upgrade the soundsytem in our Odyssey. Now this system not going to be anywhere close to the SQ level that I am planning for my TL but I still need a few suggestions.

First of all, with a cabin that large, is there anything that i need to keep in mind while building a system? Secondly which components would you recommend for something that is "better than stock but not audiophile grade". I am thinking of gettin the Alpine CDA-9830 and I am not sure whether to use one or two amplifiers to power the speakers and sub.

Since there isn't really a "trunk" like the TL, where should I position the sub? thanks guys!

If you are not too worried about "total" sound quality, I think running 2-ways off the deck would be fine, and then run ~300 RMS watts to a couple of 10's or a 12......would sound much better than stock, but not "El Dude" or harsh level
