Audio/Subwoofer Problem

When the weather gets hot, my amp goes into protection mode, (which means that there is no bass hittin from the subs-)

The subs work fine most of the time, but recently with all this 90+ degree weather, they've been actin up, dunno why-

Can high temperature in the trunk cause the amp to go into protection mode?

Or is this a wiring issue?

What are some of the reasons that cause amps to go into protection mode?

Thanks

I think its because of the weather. My amp has done it once, so far this summer. I had it playin' for about 90 minutes straight in 90+ degree weather and sitting in traffic. If you park in direct sunlight for an extended period then heat is sure to build up even with tinted windows. Try cracking your windows or sunroof to let some heat escape when ever you park. It might be the way you have your amp wired as well, I'm not a specialist, so other responses are needed here.
