I just purchased a 2003 TL S-type with 50k miles (no navi). I'm wanting to get any and all suggestions regarding the stereo. I had XM and a nice Pioneer mp3 receiver / amps / sub etc in my old CL. Now, the default stereo is in the car and I'm in a quandry.

#1 I want ... no actually I'm gonna have to have XM (i live in the boonies with no good radio stations), but at the same time I don't want to have some ugly additional xm module sitting on my dash uglying it up. First, are there stock acura stereo's that can be purchased that fit the mold of the old stereo and have XM (like the stereo's in the new TSX's , TL's etc)?

I would much prefer to keep the look of the original stereo and get the functionality i want if at all possible. If not, has anyone replaced the original with a form factor harness and a standard sized stereo? How does it look?

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I LOVE THIS CAR (and its 260 horses )

 

Anyone know if there are templates for double din head units for the 2003 TL? (non-navi)
