atten: experts, need help quick!

I just traded my old sub in for a Rockford Fosgate RFZ 3410 10" sub. It's 150 rms and 400 watt peak. I have only 3-4 days left to return my old amp to the store due to 30 day refund.... I am currently using the Kenwood 629S which is only 150 watt bridged... I was thinking of putting in more power to the subwoofer. I don't know whether to choose from the Rockford 200S or 300S amp... i need some expert advice on which amp i should use for the best output from the 10" Rockford sub....

Keep the new sub and get the new amp.....if a sub is 150 rms 400 peak and you get a 300 watt amp......you can turn down the gain on the amp to get a CLEAN 150 watts......with room for improvement. Who knows, you may get a 12" or 2 10"s later on.

cool.... thanks man... i also found out that the Rockford 200M amp is a mono amp. It give 200@2ohms and 100@4ohms... so in conculsion.. does it mean that its only giving out 100W to the sub since the sub is impedence 4ohms??

whereas the Rockford 200S is a 2 chnl amp and bridgeable and gives 200@4ohms...

Which one should i go for? they both can be said the same having a max of 400W but one is mono and one is 2/1 chnl.
