dont know man, looks kinda cheap but looks can be deceiving. my 27 inch wide screen pc monitor is a no name brand and it works great. sometimes these no name brands work out pretty good.

i think most people on these boards prefer the Pioneer double din receivers. However, when using a double din headunit you need a custom dash kit which can cost you a nice lil chunck of change.

I have a jvc kd-nx5000 but not installed yet.

My opinion would be dont go cheap on the headunit!

i know there is a thread on this already and can definately be done. i think you have to run audio cables from the headunit to the rear and may involve removing your back seat to get access to the bose amp. Once you get access to the amp you'll have to tap into a couple of wires on the wiring harness. good luck.

You guys are acting like Jensen is any better...

I dont mean to burst your bubble, but Jensen and Pyramid are prolly the two worst brands in car audio. Not sure if opened/installed but if you can return the Jensen i would. Better off getting a used HU or a lower end namebrand one. You can get a "decent" HU for $150 or less. Even if that Jensen was $6.95 you paid too much for it.

Sorry man i have seen others go down that road, just trying to help, not trying to lecture

even with the mono output, you should still be able to do it, because you'll have to cut the one end of the cable running from the sub out. after you cut it you'll have to use the different wires in the jacket to splice into the wire harness attached to the bose sub.

if your really serious about hookin the HU to the bose sub, i would suggest reading that entire thread. You may even want to print it out and have a hard copy with you when you attempt the install.

Wrong jensen at least uses a decent osd/menu. I've had a couple of them i paid 150 bucks for a slide out touch screen it reminded me of the first touchscreen alpines. the innvotec are like atari .

I agree. Although I would not put either of them 50 feet from my cars or install either of them in any of my customer's cars..... Jensen does have a good user interface and many cool features included that the BIG 3 charge buku bucks for. (BIG 3 = Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine)

I agree id rather get a used pioneer, kenwood, alpine, eclipse etc. But since i used the Jensen's in my "beater cars" so if it got stolen i would not care as much.

You used the wrong installer. They should have crossed the front speakers over higher so that they weren't playing so much bass. And you subwoofer should actually be louder than stock. Quite a bit louder in fact. Sounds like they didn't hook it up right.

well sadly im the one that installed it, 1st time install.... so im sure i probably did mess up...

all i did was connect all the wires correctly from the jensen harness to the meta harness... (used power antenna to connect to the meta auto antenna)...

then i ran my sub out from the back of the jensen to the amp (behind back passenger seat) and plugged it in according to the diagram...
so where am i messing up here?

what does crossing the frotn speakesr mean? (i turn the sub up on my radio but it doesnt seem to turn up at the sub... but if i turn up the bass then it will turn up, but the speakers bass turns up too...
