NICKTL, I've heard that it could be the remote wire is not installed in the correct spot, so there for it is causing a problem, do you think that the remote wire could be the reason it is giving me the vibration? thanks for your help. jesseo

its bass with the radio off, when the radio comes on it quits, its just a solid rumble, its extremely loud. when the cd player actualy comes on it stops but the brief time when it is off when i start my car it just rumbles for a couple of seconds. thanks

Could it be in the amp itself? It sounds like the amp may have a turn on/off delay to avoid pops and maybe it is not turning off quick enough.
As for the remote wire, where is it hooked up? It's not hooked to constant power is it? That might cause a problem.

First off, to decide if it IS the RTO wire, do this.
Disconnect the RTO wire from the amp. Turn the amp on with a paper clip in your hand bridging the 12V constant and RTO input terminals on the amp.
If the problem doesn't happen, THEN worry about your RTO wire. If it still happens, then it ain't your RTO wire.

The CD player is fine but, which wire. It should be a blue accesory wire. The yellow is constant and the red is switched. Red would work if you do not have blue, I think but, yellow would not.

disconnect the remote wire and turn the car on and see if it goes away. The amp won't work so you shouldn't get any sound. I bet you have the remote wire hooked up wrong.

you will have this problem if you are using speaker line inputs... and you have the remote power wire connected incorectly. ... the aftermarket amp is coming on before the stock one so when the stock amp powers on it is snding a surge. to get rid the noise you need to splice the remote wire from the aftermarket amp into the one on the stock amp.. you will need to find a wire diagram for your car to make sure you splice the correct wire.
now i am not sure if all of this applies to a 2000 integra but it does to a 2001 CL.... it depends on if you have a stock amp or not... but it is almost definatley a problem with the remote wire
