Another need a shallow sub rec.

I am buying another car.. NOT getting rid of my TL.. I love the thing.. but I need a new toy. I got some money and I am buying a new Lotus Elise. Problem is that the thing is TINY. The alternator is only 80A too so I don't wanna bog it down with a HUGE system I already have that in the TL.

I was thinking since there is really no room at all in the thing that I can probably get a shallow mounted sub in the footwell of the passenger seat behind the footrest or maybe even behind my backseat. I can mount the amp (probably the JL 5 channel so I can add a comp set up front probably either the focal utopia's or the same DLS 6.3 that i have now.

Problem is that I have never heard a shallow mounted sub I don't need A HUGE sub. 1-reg 10 or even and 8 would PROBABLY do it. It's soo small I don't need anything crazy.

Here is a pic of the interior so you guys have an idea.

Thanks

Ryan

The first pic is the passenger seat without the foot rest but picture it to go where the velcro is and behind the velcro is all open space.

The second photo is 3 - 6" JL's that barely fit in that space. This is where I would want the sub to go 1-10 or 1-12 shallow SHOULD fit no?

the third is the trunk and where the same amp would go (yes I know its small).

Last my new car in December

thanks again guys
