Hey guys. I am putting my subwoofer/amp together per 'silverknights' instructions and i'm having a problem. Everything is hooked up properly. The amp has power and so does the remote turn on(tested via circuit-power tester)....but the amp is not coming on??? I took the amp/subbox out and put it in my girlfriend's civic...connected everything....and it worked like a charm. What's going on here...is it a ground problem? Am I goofing something up?

 

most likely your ground. dont be suprised if this is moved to audio/video.

 

Thanks...that's what it was! The ground that a lot of people use (that silver plate above the fuel tank in back with three screws), did not work for me at all...I ended up using one of those screw down knobs and just sanded the little spot to get solid metal contact.
