Amp to Run with 2 10" Alpine Type R

Ok coming to you guys since these whack ass audio stores out here only want money and will tell you anything just for you to buy an amp from them..

Well I've been debating on if I wanted to get type R or MTX subs.. Decided with the Type R thing is still wondering if I want 1 or 2...

So anyway looking for an amp that will push at least 1 type R and im looking for a decent 4 channel amp too. I sort of have a hook up to get discounted audio I just need to know what type or how many watts of an amp to get.

Recommendations on what amps and wattage of amps, and comments on if I should get 1 or 2 welcomed..

I'd go with a Sundown SAZ-1000D for your subs. This will give you more than enough power for 1, wired at 4 or 2 ohms. If you get dual 4 ohm coil subs, that'll work best. You can buy 1 sub for now, wire the amp at 2 ohms, then if you want to add another sub later, you could wire the amp at 1 ohm, and have plenty of power for both subs.

Sundown has a matching 4 channel, the SAX-100.4. They're beastly amps, and will likely be more power than you'll ever need.

I'm running a Sundown SAZ-1500D and it's sick. I love this amp, and I need to get ahold of Jacob about trading my RF P450.4 for a SAX-100.4...

Sundown's no joke. If you can afford their stuff, I'd say it's some of the best for the money...

I've ran their Z-15 subs, as well as the 1500D amps, and their sick. The Z-15 was one of the most musical subs I've ever played with. It got low and sounded awesome doing it... I'm pretty sure Jacob's blowing them out since they didn't come out exactly how he liked them or whatever. IIRC, they're like $250 shipped or something stupid cheap like that...
