ALPINE SPS6939S 6x9's

Are these any good? I listened to them at CarToys and they sounded very good for the price ($150). Ebay has 'em for $59/pair. I just need better sound from the rear deck.

i have some alpines 6x9. i'm not sure what model they are. i purchased them from circuit city for $100. they're good enough for me for rear fill. another thing was they fit perfectly...no spacers or brackets needed. not sure the size of what you intend to purchase.

If you're going to shell out some bucks for Alpine 6x9's, why not spend a little bit more and get the Type R's.

I have Type R mids, tweeters, and 6x9's...sounds great.

There are better speakers out there, but you can't really beat the "bang for the buck" of the Type R's.
