Alpine Setup

Hey...I jsut put my car at the shop to get a system, and I don't really know much about them but I like Alpine a lot even thought they may not be the best and may be overpriced because of the name but I decided I would just stay with all alpine...can you guys tell me what you think or if i need to make any changes. Here is my setup:
Head unit:
Alpine IVA-C800
Speakers:
6X9 2-way coaxial - Alpine SPR-692B
Component speakers - Alpine SPx-F17T
Subwoofers:
Two 12" - Alpine SWR-1240D
Amps:
4Channel - Alpine MRVf407
2Channel - Alpine MRV 1507

CD Changer:
Alpine CHA-S624
Other things:
Alpine VPE-V180A
Capacitor:
Rockford Fosgate CP7436

Can you guys tell me what you think and whether I should tell them to put a regular install or is this good enough for me to put a show install?
I was going to add tvs to the headrests but no one really sits in the back.

Thanks
Jay

Sounds like you're going pretty all-out here...not bad! I like the Alpine electronics, but I'm not a big fan of their speakers...you may want to listen to compare them to some other brands. You may like Canton or Boston Acoustics component sets, JL subs, or any number of other affordable but good brands. Gotta listen to know what suits your tastes. Check out those aluminum subs too...much more punch for the same size enclosure. Just make sure you give 'em enough power. Have fun with it, and post pics when you're done.

i'd drop the 6x9s for some smaller 6.5s or 5.25s. you already have subs for bass...these smaller speakers will give you the fill and front-biased sound...and the other half of the 6x9 opening can be used as a bass port.

i see you got the c800, but does the alpine vcr have tv tuning? i think tv tuning is better than tapes because you really can't take your eyes off the road for long, and it gives you more variety. the new alpine tv tuner is cheaper than the old version and does more too!

otherwise, sounds good to me and i like the way you matched your items. this is good enough to do a show install if that's what you are into. personally i'd ditch the rf cap unless you did matching rf installation accessories. if you plan on monster wires, then monster everything. phoenix gold, esoteric audio/streetwires, lightning audio, and stinger also have every conceivable install accessory out there.
