very nice, the faceplate is kinda ghetto, but it's better than nothing. Why don't you put the trim piece on the headunit?

Yea looks pretty good except for that custom dash piece. It looks like it has lots of nicks on it and scratches. You can have thos escratches buffed out pretty easily. Just bring it back to the place that did it and they can buff it for u. If i were you i would think about getting the metra kit for 14.99 at your local tweeter.

Why did you ditch the rear console just to put the dvd player in there?, when you could have just put it under the head unit as an installer thats where i would have put it! Just my

I'm wondering the same thing. Otherwise, your installer could have installed the DVD player in the stock console. I know it can be done since I saw it.

thanks for you comments.

i thought about putting the dvd player under the screen but it was too heavy to attach it to plexglass. i didn't kno metra made a kit for the car, but i just found out and plan to get it soon.

Did you install it yourself or an installer did it? If it was professionally done, why the heck did the installer mount the unit to the plexiglass faceplace? It's supposed to be mounted to the dash. And there are better materials for the face plate. Check your local plastic suppliers. I got a big sheet of black plastic 2'x4'x0.24" for basically nothing. It is not as shinny as plexi and looks more like OEM.

btw, after several face plates and other failed experiments, I dont have much left to share :-D
