Alpine CVA-1005

I just bought the alpine mortorized tv and i am waiting to get it shiped.

The question i have is, that i just installed my new alpine CDA-7894 cd deck that plays mp3's. now will i be able to control my deck from my tv.

becasue my friend has an cd deck that plays mp3's, and all the songs show up on a list on his tv screen. would i be able to do that with my set up or can i only use my tv just for my ps2.

thanks,
Andy

you are asking too specific of a question that no one would know except alpine engineers or it's retailers. since you have the cd player already, what does the manual say about having the video interface for song titles??? the only units i have see where you can output the digital data (like radio stations) is the sony stuff. but both are headunits so you gotta decide which one gets all its wires hooked up.

i had a system in my previous car with all alpine source units (cva1005, mda5048, dva5200, cha1214) so i kinda understand alpine and i have been into this car audio stuff for a long time now. i don't do this professionally but i sometimes do my own car or those of friends...peon stuff. if you want, you are welcomed to try my buddy's shop...just email me if you want his info. he is in city of industry.
